Indeed, on some drivers for VGA Nvidia Windows 7 there is a bug in setting complaints "Flat Panel Scaling". Which can lead to some problems such as blank screen, as well as applications that can not full screen.
To overcome this problem you do not have to bother to make or find & replace another Nvidia driver, turn off aero, or turn off UAC.
Simply do the following:
- Right-click your desktop
- Click the Nvidia control panel
- Then select Advanced settings
- Navigate the Display tab select "Change flat panel scaling"
- Select Do not scale

- Open Catalyst Control Center
- From the drop down menu at the top, click "Desktop & Displays"
